Asheville OnlyFans Creators

A painter who would rather talk about Sandy Skoglund than herself. A medium whose dry humour barely registers. A burlesque performer who opens gothic bills and a model whose work has been published many times over. A travelling muse who seems to live between photo studios, and a redhead who plays the villain in the woods. The names here read like an arts festival cast that got slightly out of hand. Almost everyone here makes something: canvases, pottery, stage acts, pictures.

Asheville sits at the meeting of the French Broad and Swannanoa rivers, and is Buncombe County's seat in North Carolina. Readers have a habit of going back to these people; the city has 69 creators in all.

#1Keira Grant: Nomad Muse Who Chases Shadows

Light and shadow carry most of Keira Grant's work. Artful nomad is the right name for her. Raleigh is home base, but her calendar is a chain of studio days and outdoor sessions with photographers who are friends as much as collaborators. Silhouettes, monochrome studies and long shadows on bare walls keep turning up in her work, along with a streak of fairy-tale fancy. To the camera she plays graceful and quietly cheeky, like a model sharing a private joke. Among the names here, few are as prolific: her OnlyFans page steadily adds new sets, with plenty of video among them.

#2baby & mistress: Deadpan Mystic With a Pampered Pup

Deadpan is the rule. baby & mistress will throw her dog a lavish birthday party and roll her eyes at herself for doing it. Rivals get the same cool treatment: she points out that she is always the one chosen. Her taste runs to the gloriously odd, from anglerfish and vintage kitsch to weirdcore curiosities. She has also made the trip to the great National Shrine in Washington. Into her OnlyFans page goes all of that sultry, sharp, unflustered manner.

#3Cherry Bomb: Woodland Menace With a Dragon on Set

Put Cherry Bomb in a forest and she becomes the villain of the story. The woods around Asheville are her personal set. There she plays the storybook menace who warns visitors off and then dares them to stay. One shoot, at a spot called Where the Wild Things Are, put her in the frame with a dragon. She models with local photographers and loves a loud night of live music in town. The mood is cheeky, theatrical and a little feral, a fairy-tale antagonist with a grin. An OnlyFans page that welcomes special requests waits behind her second page, the front door.

#4SouthernBelle73: Mountain Belle With a Stack of Tear Sheets

A freelance model published many times over, SouthernBelle73 pairs a wink with a mountain woman's grit under the southern belle title. Home is the western North Carolina hills. OnlyFans is where her glossy, glamorous modelling shows up.

#5Lelu Foxx: Asheville Firebrand With a Flirt's Timing

Sultry and quick with a rude joke, Lelu Foxx is Asheville through and through and plays the seductress with obvious relish. Her OnlyFans page feels close to those who join her and leans towards fantasy and elegance.

#6Mandi FruFru: Gothic Opener With a Fingerboard Trick

Gothic bills love her. This spring Mandi FruFru opened GOTHICK at Le Chat Noir. She has played the nerd-themed Down & Nerdy show and worked a fingerboard into a burlesque act (those tiny skateboards that once drove schoolteachers mad). After a decade of saucy stagecraft she is still the performer always heading for the next town. Videos and custom requests come from this saucy, funny, proudly nerdy solo OnlyFans creator, whom the site labels burlesque and bondage.

#7Chell: Redhead With a Night-Drive Glint

Think of someone heading out after dark with the windows down: that cool, slow-burning glamour is Chell, labelled tattooed and redhead. That smouldering mood carries straight through her OnlyFans page.

#8ZEXYMASTERMIND: Kiln Keeper Who Answers to Skoglund

Sandy Skoglund's neon installations are the touchstone for ZEXYMASTERMIND, and a studio full of brightly glazed rabbits proves it. For her porcelain bunnies she carved a little sanctuary with a grassy interior. She has fired jars and logs that look lifted from a campfire, and painted tiny portraits of her friends' dogs onto ceramic tags, while her own dog stayed thoroughly unimpressed. Hurricane Helene left its mark on the work too. The clay supplier she relied on did not survive the storm, and her last bag from them became a run of pieces. Clever, warm and sly, she shares long painting sessions on a free OnlyFans page.

The most popular creators put videos on 45% of their pages; the full list does so on 35%. Work shown moving, from a canvas filling in to a routine on stage, is what the city's favourite performers and makers like, and the gap shows it. Offering requests a little more often, popular creators follow the same logic. Near the top, blonde stays level while black hair fades, so hair colour barely matters. A shade fewer favourites have tattoos than the full list, where they are everywhere. On a list this inked, ink alone no longer sets anyone apart.
